WWE Rumours: WWE showing interest in contacting former employees

The feud between the brands starting soon?

Starting from July 19th, 2016, SmackDown will be aired Live on Tuesday nights. Not only that, WWE will be again separated into two brands : RAW and SmackDown. It is already announced that the shows will be featuring unique rosters.

So several call-ups from NXT are expected in the upcoming weeks and with the return of the Draft, more superstars will be needed to fill the three shows.

To fill the roster space for both the shows, WWE is also interested in contacting former employees and re-signing them. PWInsider notes that, the company has already started on this venture. Several enhancement talents will be signed for NXT, as few top stars of the territory will be leaving for the main roster.

It is expected that most of them, may have to pull double-duties, until NXT Takeover : Brooklyn.

Regarding former employees, it is not specifically noted which superstars WWE wants to re-sign.

In the mean time WWE announced that, former Cruiserweight Champion Tajiri and former multi-time WWE Tag team Champion Brian Kendrick will be participating in the upcoming Global Cruiserweight Series.

Both of them being former employees of the company, allwrestlingnews.com reports, there is a possibilty that they may be used in the main roster as well.
