WWE looking to sign up talented tag team from rival promotion

Jack Evans and Angelico are promising talents

WWE is forever looking to expand its already talented roster and is known for scouting wrestlers from far and wide who they think are capable of doing the franchise proud. And by the looks of things, WWE may have just hit not one but two gems who currently ply their trade in Lucha Underground – reports dailywrestlingnews.com.

It has now been revealed that officials representing the WWE approached Jack Evans and Angelico twice with the intention of signing them, but were refuted in their efforts by the duo who insisted that they wished to work with Lucha Underground for as long as possible.

Canyon Cemen and William Regal are known WWE officials who frequent PWG games, and are likely to have spotted the duo in action.

It must be noted that even though Evans and Angelico turned WWE down twice, there’s still a large possibility of them joining the franchise in the future as a deal with the franchise could do wonders for their careers.

Angelico, whose real name is Adam Bridle, began his career in his native South Africa with Pro Wrestling Alliance: Africa before moving to Mexico where he currently plies his trade. The 28-year-old has been a success in his own right and, among other things, won two Lucha Underground Trios Championships and is the current reigning champion.

Evans, whose real name is Jack Miller, has also tasted success and has won numerous trophies across various franchises like the PWG World Tag Team Championship, AAA Cruiserweight Championship, among other silverware.
