The Miz and Ciampa managed to botch a powerbomb this week on SmackDown
Tommaso Ciampa was another shocking inclusion in tonight's episode of SmackDown since he wasn't expected to be part of the show. Bray Wyatt was scheduled to be part of Miz TV after his historic Universal Championship win last night at Crown Jewel, but the travel issues seemingly also affected The Fiend.

This meant that The Miz was forced to have Ciampa as a guest on Miz TV and after a fantastic back and forth, where Miz tripped over his lines a number of times, the two men collided in the ring. Their match was one that many fans have wanted to watch for a while, but Miz looked out of place throughout and as if he wasn't completely secure facing the former NXT Champion.

This was later shown when Ciampa went for a powerbomb and it all went wrong before Miz was able to counter and deliver a DDT. Perhaps this feud will be revisited in the build-up to Survivor Series and the two men will then be able to show that tonight was merely a blip.
