#3 Why are The IIconics being handed The Revival treatment?

When Raw’s Revival won the Raw Tag Team Championships, all they managed to do was lose in non-title matches and take the pin in multiple team tag matches, while scoring unfair victories in title matches.

After winning the Women’s Tag Team Championships, it seems like The IIconics are going down the same path.

Just one night ago, the duo featured on Raw where they were defeated by the unlikely tag team of Bayley and Naomi in a non-title match. A night later, they were part of an eight-woman tag team match in which Peyton Royce took the pin from NXT’s export, Kairi Sane.

While WWE will use that in the coming weeks to set up championship matches between The IIconics and Asuka & Sane, it still doesn’t work well to show the heel champions not being able to score a victory after winning the championships.
