WWE SmackDown star Dominik may have his moment in the spotlight this week if he turns on Rey Mysterio and subsequently decides to go his own way. Charlotte Flair has earned her own place in the company, where she's no longer just Ric Flair's daughter. If Dominik goes down this route, he may become a legend in his own right someday.
We have seen so many matches in pro wrestling between family members, and they are almost always great. Cody Rhodes vs. Dustin Rhodes immediately comes to mind from AEW Double or Nothing, one of the wrestling masterpieces of the modern era. Rey Mysterio and Dominik wrestle a similar style and they can definitely get each other over.
A feud between Dominik and Rey Mysterio could stretch out over months on WWE SmackDown and lead to him retiring the living legend at SummerSlam. As he calls it a day, Rey Mysterio could surrender his mask to his son, after which Dominik could wear it going forward.
