In case you need to be reminded about Jey Uso's heel turn and everything that ensued between him and Daniel Bryan on WWE SmackDown, just check out this video again. Roman Reigns has had a fantastic feud with Jey Uso on WWE SmackDown thus far, and although he is scheduled to face Randy Orton next, he needs a credible Universal Championship challenger.

Daniel Bryan is just one of those contenders who always steps into any feud as the underdog and he puts over just about everyone that comes along. And so for him to lose a Universal Championship feud on WWE SmackDown may not really be a step back.

And also, Daniel Bryan is arguably the best wrestler in the world, so his match with Roman Reigns, when it happens would be absolutely spectacular indeed.

So, could Daniel Bryan return from 'injury' on WWE SmackDown this week and take down the WWE Universal Champion, setting up a feud that continues well beyond Survivor Series?
