Something about the whole Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott vs. Billie Kay and her mystery partner segment on WWE SmackDown was off from the word go, where Morgan's picks for Kay's mystery partner were so weird and strange, that one had to wonder if WWE was repackaging her into the female R-Truth.

No offense to Billie Kay, who has been absolutely golden in her limited role on WWE SmackDown thus far, but do we need another mystery partner storyline when we'll be going into TLC this weekend, with the whole Asuka 'mystery partner' storyline?

And as for Tamina, she needs a reboot of some kind, because right now, she has no gimmick to speak of, in her present WWE SmackDown avatar. We knew the outcome of the match from the moment that she stepped out to compete.

And the main question that exists here is why were the IIconics split up if the intention was to put both Peyton Royce and Billie Kay in random tag teams?
