Carmella seemingly only filled a void on SmackDown Live last week

Last week on SmackDown Live, Carmella helped Charlotte to fend off an attack at the hands of Sasha Banks and Bayley, who have seemingly had a new attitude in recent weeks. This was a strange move from WWE since Carmella didn't have an issue with either of the women, but it continued this week.

Carmella has since become the 24/7 Champion, which means that when she was forced to tap out to The Bank Statement, R-Truth picked her up and got her out of the ring, but left Charlotte to battle Bayley and Sasha alone, much like last week.

This time it was Becky Lynch who came out to even the odds and in the end, she sent the duo packing just after she attempted to lock in the DisArmHer on Banks. This made it clear that Lynch must not have been available for SmackDown Live last week, which is why Carmella stepped in to help Charlotte, and now Lynch will be part of the huge tag team match involving all four former NXT Horsewomen next week on SmackDown's debut on FOX.
