Over the last few weeks, WWE SmackDown has witnessed a brewing feud between The Usos and The Street Profits. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have mostly helped Finn Balor balance the odds against Roman Reigns and The Usos. Last week, they chased Jey and Jimmy Uso away from the arena when the latter were brutalizing Balor right before the main event.
The Street Profits will challenge The Usos for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions this week. It was excellent to see Dawkins and Ford back into the championship picture, and they are bound to deliver an entertaining feud against The Bloodline members. Jey and Jimmy Uso have been dominant for a while, and The Street Profits will make for credible challengers against them.
It is no secret that the promotion’s tag team division has been relatively stagnant in recent times. However, this feud can help draw more attention towards the SmackDown Tag Team Championship picture. Hopefully, both teams will deliver a good rivalry before potentially competing in another title match at Extreme Rules.
