The Usos have their eyes on the prize
Ever since his return on WWE SmackDown, Jimmy Uso has been vocal about wanting to dominate the tag team division alongside his brother. Unfortunately, The Usos are currently struggling to get on the same page owing to the conflict between Jimmy and Roman Reigns. The Universal Champion transformed Jey Uso’s identity on the Blue brand, and the latter is now stuck with a difficult choice.
Last week, The Usos had the opportunity to claim the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships twice in one night. According to the latest backstage rumors, Jey and Jimmy Uso will eventually challenge Rey and Dominik Mysterio for the Tag Team titles at SummerSlam. But before that, Jimmy will have to confirm his alliance with Roman Reigns.
As mentioned before, Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio are slated to engage in a title feud on WWE SmackDown. The growing tension between the two sides could prompt Jimmy Uso to finally stand with his family. It remains to be seen how Reigns will convince his cousin to acknowledge him as The Head of The Table.
Apart from The Usos, The Alpha Academy and The Street Profits are also looking for a title push. They were involved in a backstage altercation last week and are set to lock horns inside the squared circle on WWE SmackDown tonight.
