AJ Styles addresses the WWE Universe

SmackDown Live kicked off with WWE Champion AJ Styles, who started off by saying that unlike some people, he was a fighting champion. He then moved on to Jinder’s cheating way, recapping how he got the Great Khali to help him win the Punjabi Prison match before adding that the Singh Brothers also helped him constantly.

The Singh Brothers theme hit and they came out and apologized for the interruption. They added that usually they would introduce Jinder but not after what happened last week. AJ invited the duo to get in the ring and hug it out.

The Singh’s then informed AJ that they wanted to be in his corner at Clash of Champions because Jinder Mahal was a disgrace to the 1.3 billion people of India and he made them dress the same and kiss his feet.

AJ retorted by asking why the Singhs were at Jinder’s corner in India. Jinder’s music hit at this point and AJ replied by wiping out the Singh brothers as a “Jinder sucks” chant broke out.

Jinder then backed off as his plan backfired. The Singh Brothers clearly teased a babyface turn but it looks to have been a ruse to get at AJ.
