#1: WWE SmackDown Superstars in their 40s and 50s

Some of the oldest WWE SmackDown Superstars in their 40s like The Miz, John Morrison, AJ Styles, Sheamus, and Jeff Hardy, were all drafted to RAW. Cesaro's tag team partner, Shinsuke Nakamura, entered his 40s in February 2020.

Speaking of tag teams, both Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode also belong in this category, with Roode being the older star out of the two. Tamina is the oldest female WWE Superstar on the Blue brand.

Rey Mysterio is the second-oldest in-ring talent on WWE SmackDown, while The Big Red Machine, Kane, is the oldest SmackDown Superstar in his 50s.

The oldest WWE RAW Superstar is R-Truth. However, the master of 24/7 title shenanigans is in his late 40s, which makes SmackDown's Kane the oldest WWE Superstar in the entire main roster. The reason behind Kane's sporadic appearances in 2019-20 is his real-life political career outside of WWE.

For some, age may just be a number. Stars like Shinsuke Nakamura, Robert Roode, and Dolph Ziggler are still wrestling on a frequent basis on WWE SmackDown.

  • Dolph Ziggler - 40
  • Shinsuke Nakamura - 40
  • Tamina - 42
  • Robert Roode - 43
  • Rey Mysterio - 45
  • Kane - 53
