Stardust returns to action, Darren Young responds to injury report

Stardust has made a return to the ring

Stardust, who was last seen during the December 7th RAW event in a match against Jack Swagger, made a comeback in the ring at the recent WWE Live Event at New York’s Madison Square Garden, making it clear that the wrestler has recovered from his rumoured neck injury – reports dailywrestlingnews.com.

However, his return culminated in a defeat, which was inflicted on him by Titus O’Neil.

It’s been quite a year for Cody Rhodes aka Stardust, the highlight being his exciting, and even hilarious rivalry with Arrow star Stephen Amell, who defeated him with the help of Neville earlier this year.

Rhodes even renamed his finishing move ‘The Queen’s Crossbow’ after Amell’s character Oliver Queen.

In other news, while Titus O’Neil overcame Stardust, his partner Darren Young was wrestling at another live event which took place in Detroit, making PWInsider’s report of him sitting out the event untrue. PWInsider’s error could have probably originated from the fact that Young has a torn quad.

The rumour of him suffering a torn quad summed up from a social media post by him that strongly indicated that he did indeed suffer the injury.

Instead, Young took part in a ten man match at the live event in Detroit that puts all rumors to rest.
