The Shield Reunion is probably the best piece of storytelling the WWE has done in a long time. At a time when both men were struggling as singles competitors, the creative team made the brave decision to put them together and wove a wonderful story around it.

The culmination of that story was for the Architect and the Lunatic Fringe to win the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships at WWE Summerslam 2017 from Sheamus and Cesaro and what a great match it was in the lead-up to that victory.
