Becky Lynch was low-key having the best streak on all of SmackDown Live, male or female. Her win streak led her to defeat the champion in a non-title match to earn a singles match at SummerSlam for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

After earning her first title shot in over a year, yet another obstacle was added after the returning Charlotte seemed to have stolen her thunder, earning her way and making it into a triple threat bout at SummerSlam.

The story of Becky's career has always been eclipsed by Charlotte Flair, making her the sidekick. But WWE is aware of this and seem to be making Becky Lynch the one with the obstacle to overcome.

It would be the wrong time to have her take the pinfall and ruin her momentum in one match just in the name of protecting Charlotte. Although this is likely to happen, it's the wrong decision.
