#2 Where was Roman Reigns?

One of the biggest questions on everyone’s mind is where Roman Reigns was during the Biggest Party of the Summer. Reigns has been WWE’s top player for the past few years and was also part of the promotional posters and material for the event.

Roman Reigns was rushed into a storyline only a couple of weeks before SummerSlam, which made fans believe that WWE would book him in a match against Buddy Murphy, Rowan, or Daniel Bryan, but this wasn’t the case.

Instead, we got to see a glimpse of what could be a rivalry between Rowan and Buddy Murphy in the coming weeks, but there was no sign of Roman Reigns in the segment whatsoever.

Where was WWE’s star player during SummerSlam, and why wasn’t he made a part of any major segment to ensure that the storyline he’d been thrown into was continued?

#1 Why did Finn Balor get back up?

The Fiend had been on Finn Balor’s case since Wyatt’s return to the ring, and SummerSlam witnessed a match between the two major superstars.

Balor did not have his demon with him for the battle, and Wyatt’s Fiend character seemed to be too much for the Extraordinary Man.

In a short match which was largely dominated by The Fiend, we saw the evil entity apply the Mandible Claw to Balor to pin him and take the victory.

What was largely an impressive match was ruined a bit as after the Fiend left, we saw Finn Balor get back up, which shouldn’t really have happened.

WWE should have allowed the Fiend to leave with Balor left knocked out throughout to increase the credibility and threat of The Fiend while also giving Balor a way to get away from the ring for a few months.
