Kofi Kingston has beaten some of the very best superstars in WWE to reach where he is today. Now, as the WWE Champion, he has defended his title against some of the toughest heels in the company.

While that’s the case, he is yet to face the biggest and most ruthless heel in SmackDown’s history to defend his title.

Randy Orton delivered an RKO out of nowhere on Kofi at SmackDown Live on July 16th and sent a clear statement to all those who cheer for Kofi.

Orton won his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship 15 years ago on August 15, 2004, at SummerSlam Toronto, Ontario, and he could return to the same venue in the hunt for the WWE Championship again 15 years later.

If WWE goes ahead with this angle and booking, fans will be convinced that Kofi will meet his greatest threat at the event and could lose his title to the Legend Killer.
