WWE Summerslam: Last minute predictions for every match

The c
The Summerslam card is stacked from top to bottom.

Daniel Bryan vs The Miz

8
8 years in the making

Prediction: The Miz wins. After 8 years of build-up, this match somehow feels too big for Summerslam. WWE have done a great job in the past few weeks to bring up the history that the two men have shared. It feels too good of a story to be done in just one match. The only way to continue this feud would be to have the Miz get a win over Bryan. Don't be surprised if The Miz takes the win this Sunday with some outside help.

Raw Women's Championship - Alexa Bliss (c) vs Ronda Rousey

Enter
The former UFC Champion will be looking to add a WWE Championship to her trophy case

Prediction: Alexa Bliss wins. Rousey was fully expected to win before the WWE made a promotional gaffe and announced Alexa Bliss vs Trish Stratus at the all women's Evolution pay-per-view. Although, this might turn out to be a ploy on the part of the WWE to make a Rousey win seem unexpected.

But in truth, during the whole build up to this match, Rousey has been booked like a monster. It won't be even a minute surprise if she ends up winning on Sunday. But with this being just her fourth match in the WWE, it is too early for Rousey to hold a major championship in the WWE. A Nia Jax heel turn to help Bliss retain might solve all of WWE's problems AT Summerslam.

WWE Championship - AJ Styles (c) vs Samoa Joe

Sty
Styles and Joe revive an age long rivalry at Summerslam

Prediction: AJ Styles wins. Who would have ever thought that these two would one day go on to fight for the WWE Championship in one of the biggest pay-per-view events of the year? But this is exactly we are going to get at Summerslam. This match is sure to bring the house down.

Over the years these two have had some of the most epic matches in wrestling history and they will surely not disappoint on Sunday. When these two had their five-star match at Unbreakable 2005 along with Christopher Daniels, most of the superstars on this pay-per-view had not even stepped foot in a wrestling ring. That's how long these two have been tearing it down. Do not expect this to be the last time they meet in a WWE ring either.

WWE Universal Championship - Brock Lesnar (c) vs Roman Reigns

E
Lesnar and Reigns are about to main event another big pay-per-view

Prediction: Roman Reigns wins the Universal Championship. After failing to beat Brock Lesnar for almost four years, Sunday might be the time when Reigns finally manages to get the best of 'The Beast Incarnate'. With rumors of Brock leaving for UFC to challenge for their Heavyweight Championship, this might be the last opportunity for the WWE to have Reigns conquer 'The Conqueror'. Although, it would be foolish to count out the possibility of a Money in the Bank cash in at the end of the match.
