#1 Samoa Joe should have won the WWE Championship

Samoa Joe vs AJ Styles was a great contest, but with the wrong outcome

Give these men enough time, and you could be sure that they are going to make the audience chant 'This Is Awesome'. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe had an exhilarating contest, they gave their all.

The technique, the near falls, and the reversals, i could dare say they was all perfect. At no moment in the match did i feel not interested. This match in my opinion was the best match of the night, but the only mistake was the result.

Samoa Joe is a legit monster, he is a top tier athlete, and this time I really thought he was going to walk out with the WWE Championship around his waist, but that was not the case. Samoa Joe could have brought a totally new spark to SmackDown Live.

I am not saying that AJ Styles is not a great champion, but his championship reign has gotten stale. This decision might have been taken to create a dream match between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan at WWE Crown Jewel, WWE wants to establish their foothold in the Middle East, and they are going all out for it.

I think that Super Show-Down was a much better event than The Greatest Royal Rumble, and it had its share of both the good and the bad. Lets see how this will play out in the upcoming Raw and SmackDown episodes.
