WWE Super ShowDown Predictions: Goldberg vs The Undertaker

Finally! The Undertaker vs Goldberg is happening!

In truth, the battle is occurring 15 years after it probably should have taken place. Nevertheless, there is palpable excitement that The Undertaker and WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg are due to lock horns for the very first (and likely only) time ever.

On Friday, June 7, the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia will play host to one of the few dream matches WWE can still promote.

With just days remaining until show time, WWE finally put some effort on promoting this encounter on the go home Raw and Smackdown episodes.

The Undertaker cut a typical promo in which he claimed he would take Goldberg's soul and that it is Goldberg, not he, who is "next."

The pair finally came face to face on last night's Smackdown episode, where Goldberg stated he had waited 20 years to face the "Phenom." 'Taker stared down Goldberg and disappeared without saying a word.

That is your hype for the fantasy match-up. The Smackdown crowd however lapped up the face to face between "Da Man" and 'Taker and the match on Friday should deliver as a nostalgia attraction.

So, the big question is who will win this battle of the legends?

Despite Goldberg being a WWE Hall of Famer, there is little doubt that WWE bigwigs will see this as a battle between WWE and WCW (despite the former number one wrestling company in the world being out of business for close to two decades).

With that in mind, it is impossible to see any way in which the former WCW icon, Goldberg defeats The Undertaker here.

This will be a five minute, dynamic, big move after big more striking battle. But a Chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver will ultimately do for Goldberg.
