WWE News: WWE Superstar back in the ring after 60 days suspension

The Ascension
Konnor and Viktor of The Ascension

One-half of the former NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension, Konnor made his return on last night's WWE live event after being suspended from WWE for 60 days. Below is a photo of him posted by a fan who was in attendance at the live event:

Konnor was suspended back in April this year. He along with fellow NXT veteran Adam Rose were suspended for 60 days for violating the WWE's wellness policy for the 2nd time in their respective careers.

Adam was later released from the company after he asked for it following his arrest back in March. Konnor however, completed his suspension period and is now back in the ring and has started competing with his partner Viktor as seen in the above picture. There is no news on when they will be back on WWE TV as a team.

It's notable here that WWE takes the violation of their wellness policy very seriously and since they have a larger roster now, another such suspension can scrap the chances of Konnor getting a contract extension.

The Ascension, who still holds the record of being the longest reigning NXT Tag Team Champions, were lost in the mid card of the tag division in the main roster. One can only hope that after the return of the brand extension, they will finally reclaim their place on the roster which they had in the developmental territory of WWE.
