Will this WWE Superstar be forced into retirement as well?

Cesaro and Kidd after their title loss at Extreme Rules 2015

Daniel Bryan’s retirement seems to have opened the floodgates in the WWE. Just days after he announced to the WWE Universe that he is hanging up his boots, rumours surfaced of his wife Brie Bella following suit.

Soon after, Wade Barrett was the center of speculation about a possible retirement in June. The latest specimen facing scrutiny is Tyson Kidd. The Canadian veteran was critically injured after being on the receiving end of a Muscle Buster by Samoa Joe at a dark match for RAW in May last year.

After treatment, Kidd posted on Twitter that the injury required sixteen staples, four screws and a rod in his neck to be assuaged. According to Daily Wrestling News, Kidd continues to undergo therapy and is hopeful that he will return to the ring, but in dire similarity to Daniel Bryan, WWE doctors are of no inclination to clear him.

Despite the Hart Dungeon alum remaining optimistic, WWE doctors have told the brass that Kidd may never be cleared to return to the ring. Kidd teamed with Cesaro to form the ‘Brass Ring Club’ and the duo won the Tag Team Championships at Fastlane last year, enjoying a nine-week reign that was ended by New Day at Extreme Rules.
