WWE superstar and League of Nations member Alexander Rusev took to his official Twitter account to tweet about a ‘big announcement’ during the upcoming Monday Night RAW, which will take place in the wrestler’s home city of Nashville, Tennessee – reports wrestlinginc.com.
The Bulgarian born wrestler has had an eventful run in WWE, culminating in the formation of the League of Nations along with Sheamus, King Barrett and Alberto Del Rio, and preceeded by a marriage propsal from Summer Rae. Summer’s proposal was eventually rejected by Rusev, who surprisingly got engaged to fellow wrestler Lana in real life.
The couple’s engagement resulted in a storyline on WWE, involving Summer breaking up with Rusev on RAW – which resulted in extremely negative reviews from fans, who were of the opinion that the entire affair damaged the Bulgarian’s gimmick.
The 30-year-old, along with the League of Nations, gained attention for the alliance with WWE CEO Vince McMahon – who was intent on snatching the WWE World Heavyweight Championship away from Roman Reigns.
What the big surprise turns out to be is anyone’s guess.
