#3. Apollo Crews was made for Money in the Bank

The rejuvenated Apollo Crews has an unprecedented amount of talent and athleticism that bodes well for a Money in the Bank match.

He was unfortunately pulled from his first Money in the Bank match scheduled for 2020 due to injury, and has yet to feature in the gimmick match. This means that Apollo has still not competed in any form of ladder match in WWE as of this writing.

The former United States Champion and current Intercontinental Champion would set the ladder match alight with his unmatched skillset, which you wouldn't normally expect from someone of his size.

Whether we see Apollo Crews in a Money in the Bank match in the future remains to be seen, but he would not have a problem stepping up to the match type. We can picture it now. Apollo pulling out one of the smoothest moonsaults we have ever seen from the top of a ladder onto his opponents below.

#2. Io Shirai would flourish in a Money in the Bank match

The Japanese superstar has been a joy to watch on NXT and continues to show the world why she is currently one of the best. She would no doubt thrive in a Money in the Bank match.

Of course, currently performing on the NXT roster, her move to the main roster will come and that's when she'll be able to show off her incredible to the wider WWE Universe around the world.

She has competed in ladder matches previously on NXT, and she has shone in all of them. In fact, Io is undefeated in all the ladder matches she has competed in on NXT, including a multi-woman ladder match which she won in April 2020.

The former Stardom star in Japan and former NXT Women's Champion would certainly raise eyebrows over what she would be able to pull off in Money in the Bank, and would likely extend her undefeated streak in ladder matches.

#1. Shawn Michaels could be Mr. Money in the Bank

The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels ranks as the number one superstar who would immediately thrive in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

HBK has a history with ladder matches, but he never stepped into the ring in a multi-man demolition derby like Money in the Bank. Despite being an active performer when the first Money in the Bank match came around in 2005 at WrestleMania 21, Shawn did not feature in it and was instead pitted against Kurt Angle in a singles match.

Michaels has one won two of the six ladder matches he has competed in, we have no doubt that Shawn would have excelled in a Money in the Bank, and no doubt won one or two of them.
