WWE TLC 2016 Results, winners and video highlights (12/4/2016)

AJ Styles (C) vs Dean Ambrose (Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the WWE World Championship)

Dean Ambrose took AJ Styles out with a clothesline as soon as the bell rang. He followed up Irish Whip which he followed up with a chop and a back-body drop. Ambrose then rolled to ringside and threw a chair into the ring after which he went to slide a ladder into the ring. AJ picked up the chair and smashed it into the ladder which inadvertently smashed into Ambrose.

AJ then tried to take advantage and climb the ladder but Ambrose intervened and took him town. Ambrose then Irish Whipped Styles and threw the ladder onto him. AJ rolled out of the ring and crawled on the entrance ramp as Ambrose followed him out and Suplexed him right onto the ramp.

Ambrose then set up a table next to the ramp and lay Styles on it before climbing an adjacent ladder. Styles, thankfully for him, rolled off and walked into the crowd. Ambrose followed him and set a garbage bin onto Styles head before taking him through the crowd and back to ringside.

Ambrose then climbed onto the barricade and looked for a flying lariat but Styles met him with a dropkick which he followed with a leaping forearm. Styles then went for another running forearm but he missed this one and got hung up on the barricade. Ambrose took advantage and smashed a chair into Styles before heading into the ring and climbing the ladder.

Styles easily ran into the ring and tipped the ladder over as Ambrose crashed into the middle rope. Styles followed it up with a bodyslam onto a prone ladder. He then leaned the ladder against the ropes but Ambrose ended up reversing a suplex attempt and sent Styles crashing into the ladder as Styles rolled out. Ambrose followed this up by just throwing the ladder onto Styles who was at ringside.

Ambrose proceeded to set up a table in the middle of the ring but AJ came in with a chair and hit Ambrose with it from behind. Styles proceeded to repeatedly smash the chair into Ambrose before taking out more chairs and setting them up in the middle of the ring.

Ambrose, however, took advantage of this and flip suplexed Styles through the set-up chairs. He then set up a table in the corner and snap suplexed Ambrose right through it. Styles then went to Irish Whip Ambrose who recovered and hit the Lunatic Lariat. Styles then charged at Ambrose but Ambrose set him crashing outside and followed it up with a suicide dive. Ambrose then set Styles up on the announcer’s table before setting up a ladder next to it. Ambrose then climbed up and hit an elbow drop on Styles through the table.

Ambrose then set up the ladder back inside the ring and looked to reach for the belt. As he reached the top, Styles hit him with a Phenomenal Forearm out of nowhere. Both men gave it everything and with Ambrose down at ringside, Styles hit him with a jumping reverse DDT from the top rope. He followed it up by setting Styles up on a table and hitting a 450 splash through it.

At this point Ellsworth came out to distract Styles and Ambrose hit him with a Dirty Deeds onto the steel steps. Ambrose climbed the ladder and reached the top but Styles somehow reached and climbed up. However, Ambrose punched him and sent him crashing to ringside. As Ambrose looked like he was about to reach for the belt, Ellsworth tipped the ladder over and sent Ambrose crashing off and through a table at ringside!

Styles took advantage and climbed up the ladder to retain the title. What a finish! Why did Ellsworth turn on Dean Ambrose?!
