#1 Flopped at WWE TLC: Nia Jax

Nia Jax could have been booked better
Nia Jax could have been booked better

At WWE TLC, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler put their Women’s tag team titles on the line in a match against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. The latter returned as Asuka’s mystery partner and bullied Nia Jax throughout the match. This match got progressively one-sided, and by the end, it turned out to be the weakest in-ring battle of the night.

There was bad blood between Jax and Flair since before the latter took a break from the television. Upon her return at WWE TLC, Charlotte ensured that she gets the better of her nemesis. Unfortunately, it ended up making Jax look extremely weak inside the ring. It is understandable if the creative wanted to make Charlotte Flair look strong.

But that could have been done without compromising on the quality of Nia Jax. The latter struggled throughout the match and came across as the weakest contender. She was evidently overpowered tonight, which left a stain on the dominant build-up that RAW wanted to give her. It will be interesting to see what has been planned for her following WWE TLC.
