Over the years, WWE has managed to provide enticing moments that rest with us for a lifetime. These moments are courtesy of the amazingly gifted WWE superstars who battle every now and then to cheer us up. What makes WWE so great is their ability to put up genuinely tremendous storylines.

From having dream bouts featuring 2 legendary superstars to giving a personal angle to rivalries, WWE is at its best when pitching 2 men against each other.

Talking about rivalries, over the years there have been many monumental clashes which have entertained the fans worldwide. The WOW factor is often bestowed upon us by the WWE whenever a gigantic clash takes over. We remain stuck to our seats with great pleasure as a monumental clash turns into a rivalry. There have often been memorable rivalries where one man completely dominated the other, where one man had his rival's number!

Here we rank down 5 high profile rivalries which turned out to be more of a one-sided affair:

#5 Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns

Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar

The Beast Incarnate and the Big Dog did form one of the most formidable rivalries of this decade. They’ve battled each other on numerous occasions with Brock Lesnar being the winner most of the times.

The two powerhouses have given the WWE universe quite a number of memorable moments from their epic WrestleMania main events to their historic steel cage match in Saudi Arabia. WWE did showcase Lesnar as a bully, a man who doesn’t care about the company and all he cares about is his paycheck whereas Roman is the one who stands up to Lesnar and takes the fight to the beast. Their whole storyline has been about Lesnar being an underserving WWE universal champion in Roman’s eyes and the big dog tries every now and then to dismantle Lesnar of his throne. Lesnar is often labeled as a tough guy to work with but Roman did just fine to put on a show for the WWE Universe.

Though Roman Reigns won the WWE universal title against his arch nemesis at the 2018 Summerslam, the number of loses he suffered at the hands of Brock Lesnar prior to that solo victory are way too much to be ignored.

#4 Batista vs Triple h

The WWE universe does hope to see the legends collide in future but as of now, the statistics are heavily tilted in Batista's favor.

What started as a special bond, soon turned into a sour relationship. Triple H mentored the animal during their evolution days but soon things changed as Batista climbed the ladder to reach the top as he won the 2005 royal rumble and thus challenged Triple H for his World Heavyweight title.

Batista did win the match and then followed this with victories over the game at Backlash and then at Vengeance. The Animal also beat Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match. This match marked the end of their historic rivalry and since then the two legendary superstars have never been involved in a singles bout. The WWE universe does hope to see the legends collide in future but as of now, the statistics are heavily tilted in Batista's favor.

#3 Randy Orton vs Christian

Orton vs Christian

The most famous rivalry of 2011, the one which got the WWE universe on their toes as two technically gifted superstars collided for the World Heavyweight title. Orton and Christian were a delight to watch together and their in-ring chemistry was appreciated by the wrestling enthusiasts.

What made this rivalry so special was how Christian at first won the world title after years of struggle and then Orton coming out and challenging for the title. At one point this was tipped as the battle of faces since both the superstars got major backing from the WWE universe but as the rivalry progressed, Christian turned heel.

WWE carried out the idea that however hard Christian tries, his attempt of winning back the title fails. The two competed in a number of PPVs in 2011 like Summerslam, Money in the bank, Over the Limit and more.

All in all, while Christian did win by disqualification at the 2011 edition of MITB, other than that, this rivalry was all about Randy Orton being the dominant one.

#2 Edge vs Batista

Edge
Edge

The rivalry that dominated Smackdown for a number of years for one prize that was certainly the biggest of them all. One prize that was craved by every WWE superstar and that prize is none other than the World heavyweight title. The Rated-R superstar possessed rare domination over Batista and it did surprise the WWE Universe how Edge found a way to beat the animal each and every time.

Batista and Edge mostly met for The World heavyweight title and as mentioned before, the Rated R superstar got the better of Batista every time. The storyline was quite surprising, due to the fact that Edge was the heel in this rivalry while Batista was the face who got the backing from the WWE universe.

Despite Batista being a fan favourite, the WWE board decided to keep the World title on Edge's Waist. From steel cage match to the last man standing, the two former superstars did it all but when it came to one on one bouts, Edge came out as the winner.

#1 The Undertaker vs Triple h

Undertaker
The Undertaker

Triple-H and The Undertaker have been 2 of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. The two have often been tipped as the last of an era. The Game’s rivalry with the Deadman goes way back. One major reason why the rivalry is much more dominated by The Undertaker is due to his victories at WrestleMania over Triple h.

Triple H is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and the crowd erupts every time The Game's music comes up. Hunter is a 14-time world champion, a two-time royal rumble winner, king of the ring winner and the list goes on and on but the one thing that was desired so intensely by the COO of the company was to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Thrice the game came close to beating the deadman but in the end, the story remained the same- The Undertaker beats Triple h at WrestleMania.

The game has lost 3 times to the phenom, the most losses suffered by any superstar at the hands of the deadman at the grandest stage of them all. Triple h finally won against the Deadman at SUPER SHOW-DOWN but the victories at WrestleMania stage does ut the ball in Taker's court.
