The WWE universe does hope to see the legends collide in future but as of now, the statistics are heavily tilted in Batista's favor.

What started as a special bond, soon turned into a sour relationship. Triple H mentored the animal during their evolution days but soon things changed as Batista climbed the ladder to reach the top as he won the 2005 royal rumble and thus challenged Triple H for his World Heavyweight title.

Batista did win the match and then followed this with victories over the game at Backlash and then at Vengeance. The Animal also beat Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match. This match marked the end of their historic rivalry and since then the two legendary superstars have never been involved in a singles bout.
