WWE Top 5 Rumors of the Week and Analysis: 10 May, 2015

Jericho working at SummerSlam

Chris Jericho’s new deal with the WWE is no secret in the wrestling community. The former WWE champion has agreed to work in WWE live shows through to the summer and might also host the Tough Enough show as well. The exciting part for the fans however came from the rumor mill which suggested the possibility of Jericho working at SummerSlam.

Even though Jericho is nowhere near his prime, he still has some pretty good star power that WWE could use at SummerSlam. A stage like SummerSlam and a veteran like Jericho will be ideal situation for putting over some youngster and WWE should pull every string they have to make this happen.

Charlotte and Finn Balor to get called up soon

After Sami Zayn’s immense success in the main roster, WWE is all set to call up more NXT superstars. Charlotte and Finn Balor are the two favorites to be called up in the near future. Charlotte has been in the possible list for a long time now and it would not be a surprise if the creative team gives her a slot in the divas division.

As far as Balor is concerned, he is getting paid too much to be in NXT. He has impressed everyone with his style as well, making the route easier for him. Sami Zayn, however, is likely to stick around the developmental area for some more time as the match he had with Cena was only promotion for the upcoming NXT take over special.

Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar in the plans

Most of the WWE fans out there are expecting Lesnar to make his return at SummerSlam but from what we learned from the Internet, The Beast might show up earlier. There is a big possibility of WWE cutting short Lesnar’s vacation due to the ever falling ratings and the current plan in store for him is a feud with Bray Wyatt.

The Wyatt Family has shown signs of a reunion recently and if the rumor turns out to be true, they would end up being a jobbing squad for Lesnar. The Lesnar – Wyatt feud looks great on paper with all the potential promos and in-ring action but then again, WWE will have to convince Lesnar to work before SummerSlam if this has to materialize.
