WWE touts Social Media numbers, Hedge-Fund manager wants Vince McMahon replaced as CEO

Emmanuel Lemelson is pushing for big changes in WWE

World Wrestling Entertainment is pretty pleased with its social media numbers but, hedge-fund manager Emmanuel Lemelson said he “couldn’t care less”. According to FinAlternatives.com, WWE this week touted its internet popularity at UBS media conference, citing billions of YouTube views and hundreds of millions of followers on various social-media platforms.

However, Lemelson shrugged at WWE’s numbers and thinks that the company needs to focus more on its core contents, and not to be distracted by the social media numbers. Also, Lemelson is pushing for big changes in WWE, he wants Vince McMahon to either sell the company or find a new professional CEO.
