WWE trying to attract Hockey Brawlers and MMA Fighters

WWE’s Gerald Brisco has been recruting athletes from the MMA circuit with the idea that these individuals stand a chance at longer careers in pro wrestling. Brisco is also going to be recruiting tough hockey brawlers from Canada soon.

The logic that Brisco relies on to sell his idea to MMA athletes is that there is more money to earn on the WWE circuit, and that they can all emulate Brock Lesnar. Lesnar has used his success on the WWE ring as an entry-point into competitive mixed martial arts.
