What's the story?

WWE is all set to redefine the experience of its drama for the WWE Universe once again. WWE has announced its collaboration with NextVR in order to provide the fans with a new WWE experience.

In case you didn't know

NextVR is a leading technological enterprise launched in 2009 which provides live and on-demand virtual reality experience of events internationally. WWE has been testing with VR since 2015 and it looks like they've got some big plans that might develop after this partnership really takes off.

The heart of matter

For a better action loaded experience for the fans, WWE tied up with NextVR who will work collaboratively with WWE officials to produce quality experience content. The experience will feature a free 10-minute rundown of selected 2018 WWE events for the people.

Users will need to go through the NextVR app and select WWE channel in order to witness a brand new experience of entertainment. People having Samsung GearVR headset or Play Station VR can easily access the recap of the events through the NextVR app. The enterprise is scheduled to produce 6 VR experiences in 2018.

Speaking in an interview, David Cole, NextVR CEO said that the new experience is incredible and the WWE Universe is going to love it.

“WWE is amazing in VR, and we know fans are going to love it, Our patented VR broadcasting pipeline will bring fans ringside with WWE Superstars to experience the electrifying energy and spectacle firsthand."

Talking about WWE's collaboration with NextVR, Michelle Wilson, WWE Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer said the company is intending to create enthralling content and experience for its fans.

“We are always looking to create compelling content across platforms, and we are excited to partner with NextVR to bring our fans closer to the action than ever before. As the technology behind virtual reality continues to evolve, this is a unique opportunity for us to partner with NextVR, a leader in this space, to provide new experiences to our passionate fans around the world."

What's next?

NextVR is scheduled to produce the first VR event of WWE in the first quarter of 2018. The possibilities are endless the technology will only increase in power and impressiveness as time goes on.
