Veteran WWE star pulled from the Rumble match?
Would the Royal Rumble match be devoid of a veteran star's name?
In a confusing turn of events, veteran WWE strongman Mark Henry’s name was added to the Royal Rumble match but was later removed and not added back ever since.
WWE put out an updated list of participants in the 30-man royal Rumble match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship which is devoid of Henry’s name. Below are the 13 names that have been officially announced:
- Roman Reigns
- Big Show
- Brock Lesnar
- Chris Jericho
- Curtis Axel
- Dolph Ziggler
- Bray Wyatt
- Luke Harper
- Erick Rowan
- Braun Strowman
Apart from the customary Rumble match, the card would feature a potential match of the year candidate between Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens. Dean Ambrose would defend his Intercontinental title aginst Kevin Owens in a Last man Standing match.
The Divas Championship match between Charlotte and Becky Lynch is expected to be officially added to the card on RAW.
Alberto Del Rio could also defend his United states title against Kalisto at the Rumble, that is if WWE doesn’t go ahead with another U.S. title match on RAW – which has been rumored to happen.
With the January 24th pay-per-view fast approaching, the upcoming RAW could see major announcements and additions to the Rumble card.
