– The recent weeks have been an exciting for the WWE universe. There have been solid rumours that WWE are very close to signing NJPW superstars such as Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows and AJ Styles.
AJ has been considered as one of the best wrestlers in the world and it would be a massive boost for WWE when these stars make their debut. AJ spoke with WhatCulture after a 5-star wrestling event in Newcastle, England.

AJ was asked who he would love to wrestle of the current NXT roster. He said that obviously Finn Balor was the number one candidate or Prince Devitt as he knows him. He added that he would love to wrestle Samoa Joe – who was a competitor during their time together at TNA.

He praised Finn Balor and said that he has worked with a lot of people from the NXT roster and would love to have that opportunity of wrestling them again.
Aj Styles also spoke about the Royal Rumble. He was cheekily asked if he would be free to take bookings on the night of the Royal Rumble, to which he replied positively by saying that he would.
It was rumoured that Styles was set to appear in the Rumble match, but the plans were possibly cancelled once the news got out and the surprise element was washed away.
He was asked if he would continue wrestling. He said that this is the thing that he loves the most. He added that his life was crazy especially with his 1-year-old daughter back home. He also added that injuries wouldn't slow him down and knows that they are a part and parcel of the game.
He went on to conclude that he would keep doing this as long as he can.
