Sheamus and Cesaro used to be fierce rivals before they became partners

Sheamus and Cesaro have come a long way from the bickering Europeans who engaged in a Best of Seven series. Ultimately ending in a draw, the 7 matches served to unite the two foes in an unlikely tag team pairing which has done better than expected.

Despite looking pretty good as a pair, both the Irishman and the Swiss Superman are, at the end of the day, single’s competitors masquerading as a tag team. The WWE might well decide that now is a good time to bring them back into the single’s picture and break up the duo on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

It looks unlikely following the segment where they thanked Foley on this past episode of Raw but don’t put it past WWE Creative to throw a last minute swerve and break up the odd couple.
