What’s the story?
NXT Superstar Killian Dain will be competing in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The SAnitY member will have a chip on his shoulder, competing in his very first Wrestlemania in front of a packed Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
WWE announced the news on their official YouTube channel with Cathy Kelley updating the fans on the new addition to the Andre the Giant Battle Royal.
In case you didn’t know...
The Beast of Belfast made a stunning debut in NXT, taking out Tye Dillinger and constantly assisting SAnitY. Young realised Dain’s potential and offered him a spot in the chaotic stable. The 6-foot-4 monster was happy to oblige and has since become an integral part of SAnitY.
The heart of the matter
Dain is carrying huge momentum heading into WrestleMania following SAnitY’s win at NXT TakeOver against the likes of Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong, Ruby Riot, and Kassius Ohno in an eight-person mixed tag team match.
Dain will carry the advantage of being a 300-pound monster in the over the top rope Battle Royal. Dain will rub shoulders against other giants of the main roster such as Big Show, Mark Henry, and Braun Strowman. He will join Tiang Bing as the only representatives for the developmental brand of the WWE in the Battle Royal.
What’s next?
There is a big fight feel to the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal as WWE continues to field big names into the matchup. The fourth annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will be a part of the WrestleMania pre-show, which is scheduled to start at 5 PM E on the WWE Network.

The match already boasts of some big names such as Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry, Big Show, and Sami Zayn. The addition of another monster in the form of Killian Dain will make for some compelling television.
This may very well be Dain’s chance to shine in front of a broader fan base in the hallowed setting of WrestleMania.
