Preview

Former WWE World Champions, AJ Styles and Randy Orton are all set to collide in a highly awaited singles match at WrestleMania 35, in a clash where both men seemingly have a lot to prove to the fans and more importantly to each other.

This blood intense rivalry initially began on the Blue Brand with 'The Viper' taunting AJ Styles during several backstage promos by taking major digs at Styles' illustrious Pro Wrestling career.

At this year's Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Styles had once again failed to capture the WWE Championship off Daniel Bryan, thanks to outside interference from Rowan. And at the very next pay-per-view, Styles once again got another shot at the WWE Championship, however, on this occasion 'The Phenomenal One' was locked in with four other challengers who were all bloodthirsty to win the WWE Title.

It was at Elimination Chamber when the initial seeds to a feud between Styles and Orton were sowed, as 'The Viper' successfully pinned Styles to eliminate him from the WWE Title Chamber Match. What followed next was several verbal attacks from Orton on Styles, as the multi-time WWE World Champion kept mocking 'The Phenomenal One' for not making it into the WWE during the earlier stages of his career.

The war of words continued between the two men on SmackDown Live, as on the 12th March episode of SmackDown Live, both men confronted each other inside the ring with Orton taking brutal shots at Styles' TNA career, NJPW career, and also mocking his "indie pals" who stole a certain "hand gesture". In response, Styles claimed that throughout Orton's career, 'The Viper' has been using the same move (RKO) which is a rip off of Diamond Cutter.

At the Fastlane pay-per-view, Styles and Orton finally came to blows with the former hitting The Phenomenal Forearm after interrupting an Elias concert. The two men once again recently came to blows at the recently concluded edition of Kevin Owens Show.

Despite the two men absolutely thrashing each other verbally and physically, nothing will change the fact that Randy Orton is indeed a multi-time WWE World Champion, whereas, AJ Styles has wrestled for some of the best wrestling promotions around the globe and has earned a ton experience by sharing the ring with the absolute best.

Who will win?

This match is surely all but very unpredictable but if I personally had to choose one man in particular, then I would definitely have to go for AJ Styles.
