The New Day put their RAW Tag Team Championships on the line against AJ Styles and Omos at WWE WrestleMania 37. Unlike Styles and Omos, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been a tag team for a long time and proven themselves time and time again.

Many fans expected Omos and Styles to win the titles at WrestleMania. A few still hoped that WWE higher-ups would allow The New Day to retain the titles. However, Omos managed to overpower Kingston and Woods to help his team pick up the victory.

Was it the right call to allow the make-shift tag team to win the titles? Would it have been better to have Kingston and Woods retain after a hard-fought contest?

WrestleMania 36 saw Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins win the RAW Tag Team Championships. Even worse, Braun Strowman teamed up with a 10-year-old to win the titles at WrestleMania 35.

Considering how average the build for the RAW Tag Team Championships has been over the past few years, was it the right call to give the titles to another make-shift tag team? Only time will tell if Omos and Styles will do more good than bad for the titles.
