Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka as part of the co-main event of night two of WrestleMania to become the new RAW Women's Champion.
The win comes just a year after Ripley lost her NXT Women's Championship to Charlotte Flair back at WrestleMania 36 inside WWE's Performance Center. The win cements a turnaround for Ripley, who had looked lost in WWE since her defeat to The Queen 12 months ago.
The victory also allows The Nightmare to make history as the only female wrestler to have held the NXT UK Women's Championship, NXT Women's Championship, and the RAW Women's Championship.

There is no other female wrestler in the company at present who has won these three titles. Rhea Ripley is just 24 and has a lengthy career ahead of her, which she proved last night at WrestleMania.
With all of the history that the women are making in WWE at present, you can believe that there will be more added to Ripley's list in the future.
