Let's be honest, this is the first-ever Nigerian Drum Fight to take place in WWE programming history, yet alone WrestleMania. Since Apollo Crews changed his character and decided to look into his Nigerian roots, he has turned his attention to Big E and his Championship.
This weekend at WrestleMania 37, the two men will face off for the Intercontinental Championship in the first-ever Nigerian Drum Fight. The match specifics have not been revealed. With one more episode of SmackDown to go before WrestleMania, the match rules could be revealed this week. Apollo Crews did confirm that it was a match without rules. He also revealed it would involve a beating so severe that it will sound like a drum.
The fact that their match at Fastlane ended in controversy means that this weekend's match could finally see a new Champion crowned. Crews' new attitude could lead him all the way to the Intercontinental Championship for the first time.
