‘Taker’s last ‘Mania turns out to be very emotional

Dean Ambrose (C) vs Baron Corbin (for the WWE Intercontinental Championship)

Corbin started off strong, his power getting the better of him. Ambrose soon hit him with a suicide dive but Corbin regrouped and sent Ambrose spine-first into the ring post. He then stuck his boot into Ambrose.

Corbin then looked to drive his shoulder into Ambrose but the Lunatic Fringe met him with a boot to the face. Corbin wasn’t happy and he drove Ambrose spine-first into the barricade before rolling him back into the ring.

Corbin looked to hit a vertical suplex but Ambrose reversed it and almost hit a Dirty Deeds. Corbin powered out of it easily and locked in a modified chin lock. Corbin then went to spear Ambrose in the corner, but the former Shield member dodged as Corbin crashed into the steel ring post.

Ambrose looked to hit another Dirty Deeds but Corbin avoided it again but Ambrose soon sent him crashing out of the ring. Ambrose followed it up with an elbow drop. An enraged Corbin charged at Ambrose who dodged his offence as Corbin crashed into the steel ring steps.

Back in the ring, Ambrose hit a swinging neckbreaker for a 2-count. Corbin then went for a Deep Six but Ambrose avoided it. Corbin replied with a boot and followed it up with a Deep Six as Ambrose bounced off the ropes towards him.

Corbin then rained down right hands onto Ambrose who replied with a slap across Corbin’s face. He followed it up with his trademark clothesline. Corbin hit back with a modified spinebuster for another nearfall.

Corbin then went to hit the End of Days but Ambrose reversed it and transitioned it into a Dirty Deeds to pick up the win.
