WWE WrestleMania Axxess Results (1/4/2017): Tyler Bate defends his United Kingdom Championship against Joseph Conners

An action-packed Axxess show as always

Superstars of NXT and Progress Wrestling performed in front a packed crowd at WWE's WrestleMania Axxess event in Orlando, Florida. Progress Superstars such as Jimmy Havoc, TK Cooper, Toni Storm, and Jenni performed for the first time in a WWE ring.

The card featured a title bout between WWE UK Champion Tyler Bate and UK tourney participant Joseph Conner, Pete Dunne fought Mark Andrews as a part of Progress Wrestling, Aliyah and Liv Morgan faced Billie Kay and Peyton Royce in a tag team match, and much more.

Thus, without any further ado, here are the results from Friday's (04/01) WrestleMania Axxess event.


#1 Tyler Bate vs. Joseph Conners for the UK Championship (UK Championship/NXT)

After failing to capture the gold in the UK tournament, Joseph Connor took on Tyler Bate in a singles match for the UK Championship. Both stars showcased their excellent wrestling skills and wowed the Axxess audience. In the final moments of the contest, Bate hit the Tyler Driver '97 on Conners for the win.

#2 Pete Dunne vs. Mark Andrews (PROGRESS Wrestling)

The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne took on the enigmatic high-flyer Mark Andrews in a singles contest. Pete Dunne used his Fit Finlay-esque moves to take down the ever-elusive Mark Andrews.

Andrews hit several springboards, moonsaults and dives to take Dunne down. But, in the final moments of the contest, Dunne hit Andrews with the 'Bitter End' for the win.

#3 Aliyah & Liv Morgan vs. Billie Kay & Peyton Royce (NXT)

The women of NXT took the stage to showcase their impressive wrestling skills. A young upstart like Aliyah, immediately the won the crowd over with her friendly demeanour. Liv Morgan, who's been learning how to wrestle since 2014, showed that she'd improved a lot.

Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were great as always and made sure that the crowd never stopped booing them with their heelish antics.

#4. Toni Storm vs. Jenni (PROGRESS Wrestling)

The women of PROGRESS showcased their skills to the unbeknownst WWE Universe. Storm and Jenni showed the audience why wrestlers from the UK are in demand right now. Storm, who's currently wrestling for PROGRESS and World Wonder Ring Stardom, took part in a tryout for the WWE in 2014, during their Australian Tour and the second time in 2015, during their tour of the UK.

#5 Jimmy Havoc vs. TK Cooper (PROGRESS Wrestling)

PROGRESS veteran and The King of Goths Jimmy Havoc took on TK Cooper in a singles contest.

Havoc, who's probably one of UK's biggest wrestling stars, performed for the first time in a WWE ring. Havoc and Cooper put on a great show, thus providing the WWE Universe a taste of PROGRESS Wrestling. Havoc pinned Cooper to take the win after hitting the Poison Rainmaker.

#6. Macy Estrella vs. Daria Berenato (NXT)

NXT newcomers Estrella and Berenato put on a great show. Although, still a little green, Estrella and Berenato showed great promise.
