The term “hottest free agent in pro wrestling” gets thrown around a lot. However, there is no doubt, that Zack Sabre Jr. from UK is one of the hottest out there, if not the hottest. He is one of the most popular non-WWE wrestlers on the indies today and it has scratched the head of many fans as to why such a technically gifted wrestler has not been signed by the biggest wrestling promotion on the planet.
Despite not having signed yet the dotted line yet, Zack Sabre Jr. is currently competing in the WWE Network series “Cruiserweight Classic”, where he is one of the favourites to win, along with Kota Ibushi from Japan.Despite heavy rumours, it appears that Zack Sabre Jr will not be signing with the WWE, at least for now. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that “almost all indications” lead to the fact that Zack Sabre Jr will not be signing with WWE at the moment. Sabre Jr. has reportedly told people that he would like to achieve his goals outside of WWE first. If that is the case, there is no doubt that Zack Sabre Jr. will join WWE in a matter of time. He is only 29 years old, so age is still on his side, bearing in mind that a pro-wrestler usually hits his prime in his early 30s.
