As revealed on the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Crazzy Steve (real name – Steven Scott) is headed to WWE NXT. Steve was contacted by WWE during the time when he gave his notice to Impact/
As reported earlier, the former TNA World Tag Team Champion recently parted ways with Impact after Decay, the faction he was part of, was disbanded in the Anthem era.
The reason behind his departure primarily stemmed from the fact that Decay was recently used to put over new talents in Impact. The stable was written off television after LAX did a funeral for the team, effectively ending their run. Abyss is back as to his Joseph Park gimmick while Rosemary is in the midst of singles push as the Knockouts Champion.
He joined Impact in 2013 as part of The Menagerie stable. He is most famous for his feud with the Hardys as part of Decay.
It will be interesting to see how WWE use him down at NXT, with his eccentric character aptly built for the SAnity.
