Sasha Banks and Charlotte were embroiled in a feud for a number of months throughout 2016 which saw the Women's Championship change hands a number of times and led to the first Women's Hell in a Cell match and the first main roster Women's Ironwoman match later in the year.

Ahead of this, the two women collided at SummerSlam back in 2016, it wasn't a match that the WWE Universe has become accustomed to in recent years, but it was one that proved that the Women's Division was in a fantastic place following the return to a brand split format. Sasha had only won her first Women's Championship a week before and then dropped it back to The Queen in what was a strange creative decision, but this was the match that planted the seeds for what was to become a lengthy feud between the two women and it is still considered to be one of the bets in SummerSlam history.
