#1. Alundra Blayze vs Bull Nakano - SummerSlam 1994

This is easily one of the greatest SummerSlam Women's matches of all time

Despite this match taking place more than two decades ago, it's still one that will always be mentioned in the same sentence as the likes of Sasha Banks and Charlotte.

This is a match that was showcased at a time long before WWE Divas when Alundra Blayze was one of the stands out stars in what was a dilapidated Women's Division. Bull Nakano was her only real challenger at the time and even though the expectations for this match weren't very high, the two women were able to change a lot of minds.

Alundra survived a number of interesting submission attempts before she was able to roll out the way of a leg drop from the top rope to hit her last gasp German suplex pin to retain her Championship in what was genuinely considered an upset. Blayze was on the backfoot for most of the match and genuine tears proved how much the submission artist had taken out of her, which lead to the actual relief when she was able to retain her title in this fantastic encounter that was cut much too short.
