A few AFK Journey characters are worth upgrading to Mythic+ to unlock their Exclusive Skills. Each hero has a unique Exclusive Skill that makes their kit more potent. However, to acquire them, you must gather their dupes or Acorns, which might be costly, especially for F2P players. Since not all heroes’ Exclusive skills provide better utility for your team, choosing the right hero to upgrade is vital.

What are the best AFK Journey heroes for Mythic+ upgrade?
1) Reinier
Reinier from the Hypogean faction in AFK Journey is one of the game's best support class heroes. His Exclusive Skill, Tuned Art, which unlocks at Mythic+, adds more utility to his Dynamic Balance skill. While switching an ally's position with an enemy, the opponent takes 200% damage and gets knocked down. The damage the enemy takes increases by 25% till the battle ends.
While using Dynamic Balance, Reinier switches one of his allies with an enemy symmetrical to the ally. Whenever the switched enemy takes damage, the ally unit recovers HP.
Reinier can also deal damage while restoring the ally’s HP with his Exclusive Skill unlocked.
2) Marilee
Marilee is a Marksman class hero from the Lightbearer faction. She has excellent mobility and high damage output. Her Exclusive Skill, Battlefield Learning, unlocks after upgrading her to Mythic+.
Battlefield Learning increases Marilee's attack speed by 5% every time other allies cast their Ultimates (up to six stacks). She starts dealing true damage upon reaching the max stack with her Normal attacks.
Marilee can deal more damage, and her kit becomes more potent after gaining a buff from her Exclusive Skill. She gains more utility in the Dream Realm game mode in AFK Journey with true damage and increased attack speed.
3) Korin
Korin is a Warrior class hero who excels at dealing damage to ranged enemies. With his exclusive skill, Vine Arms, Korin can inflict true damage. After he and other allies within two tiles cast three Ultimates total, his arms get enchanted and deal additional true damage equal to 2% of the enemy’s max HP for eight seconds.
With a proper AFK Journey team setup, comprising allies who can use Ultimates in quick succession, Korin can help obliterate tanky enemies. His Exclusive Skill becomes valuable against Dream Realm bosses. Additionally, it will be convenient for F2P players to upgrade him to Mythic+ due to his A-level rarity.
4) Damian
Damian is a support class hero from the Wilder faction. He can heal allies and disrupt their attacks by blinding and stunning them. At Mythic+ level, he unlocks an Exclusive Skill, Inventor’s Will, which allows him to increase allies’ Haste by 40 for 10 seconds.
All allies can cast their skills more frequently with the increased Haste, boosting the team’s overall damage output. Damian becomes a more resourceful supporter after upgrading him to Mythic+.
5) Cecia
Cecia is one of the best damage dealers in AFK Journey. Her specialty is dealing damage and bringing an additional tank, Mr. Carlyle, on the field. At Mythic+ upgrade, she unlocks the Trial of Thorns Exclusive Skill, which enables her and Mr. Carlyle to stay alive on the battlefield longer than usual.
With Trial of Thorns, Cecia can immobilize an enemy by entangling them for four seconds. Cecia also deals 60% damage and absorbs 1.5% of Physical Defense and Magical Defense every second during the period.
Moreover, Cecia and Mr. Carlyle can absorb the defenses from each target up to eight times during a fight.
6) Odie
Odie is another competent Marksman class hero from the Mauler faction in AFK Journey. He can deal continuous damage and poison enemies with his Dart Poison. This Marksman hero will be able to execute enemies at Mythic+ ascension level. His Exclusive Skill, Heart Crusher, immediately kills enemies when their HP falls below a certain threshold.
Odie deals 5.2 times the base damage dealt by his Dart Poisons using Heart Crusher. The damage multiplier increases by 0.5 times each time the poisoned enemy is defeated (up to two times).
It’s highly recommended that Odie be upgraded to Mythic+ as soon as possible, considering his A-level rarity.
7) Eironn
Eironn is an S-level Rogue class hero from the Wilder faction in AFK Journey. His Ultimate skill gives him crowd-controlling abilities, allowing him to pull enemies within two tiles to the center, deal damage, and immobilize them for two seconds. He can reduce Haste and magical defense from enemies.
Eironn also can generate a shield that negates 280% damage for 10 seconds and dodges enemies' attacks 50% of the time. At the Mythic+ ascension level, he has access to the Howling Hurricane Exclusive Skill.
With Howling Hurricane unlocked, Eironn doesn’t consume Energy while casting his first Ultimate; instead, he deals 50% less damage. The damage reduction won’t matter much due to Ultimate’s robust crowd-controlling abilities. Moreover, he will be able to cast two Ultimates in quick succession.
