The Anarchist of the WWEA few weeks back, Dean Ambrose was enjoying his best momentum since his singles run began back in June last year. He is certainly quite over backstage since there have been many instances where WWE has tried to execute formulaic ideas differently with him. And even though he hasn’t had many PPV victories to talk about and he gets disqualified quite a lot, WWE still has some spotlight for their resident wild character.Given his eccentric gimmick and the brilliant way in which he plays it, it’s important to invest time into his storylines and give the story he’s involved in a lot more meaning, Here are 5 Dean Ambrose feuds that must happen in 2015:
#1 Triple H
When you compare Dean Ambrose to the new age Stone Cold, you have to think about who is the authority figure opposite him going to be. You don’t have to look further to focus on Triple H. He’s no Mr. McMahon but he’s Mr. Hunter Hearst Helmsley or in short Mr. Helmsley.
They have come face to face a handful of times but their interactions have been brief and that’s what will pay off later.
Ambrose may be the apt anti- authority, anarchist figure to Triple H’s authority gimmick. The mic work, the wrestling and their strong screen presence will guarantee a special feud.
#2 Randy Orton
Ambrose and Orton have come face to face many times. Most recently towards the build up to Payback, but it’s important to note that they haven’t had much mic time for each other as they haven’t been against each other individually for a long time. Not like what Cena and Ambrose did last year.
Orton has become an anti- hero, a role which suits him well. Ambrose plays the babyface so well and differently, but his anti- heroic vibes are unmisseable,
So, making them face each other at this point with both of them wanting a shot at Rollins title has a lot of potential.
#3 Brock Lesnar
Who is the only Shield member who hasn’t faced Brock Lesnar yet?
Ambrose hasn’t even come face to face with Lesnar. But if they are supposed to meet then it may lead to some bold situations. Firstly, witnessing Dean Ambrose going word for word against Paul Heyman should be amazing if handled well with good writing involved.
Secondly, Lesnar is a beast who’s an indestructible force who leads unstoppable destruction. Ambrose looks like someone who’s still here after going through this and much worse. Ambrose is a survivor.
Having these two face each other will be a refreshing change.
#4 Finn Balor
Here’s another NXT MVP that may be an interesting opponent for our favourite unstable character. Finn Balor may not possess the mic skills that Ambrose does, but by God is he spectacular.
It’ll be an interesting aspect to see WWE make these two collide. Balor isn’t all weird and creepy as Bray Wyatt is on a consistent basis. His mere entrance is awe- striking.
Putting Ambrose and Balor in a feud together might seem odd right now but it’s the oddness that makes this match something unique. How will Ambrose face Balor?
How will anyone face Balor when he makes that kind of an entrance?
#5 Kevin Owens
There was this one moment that so many of you might have missed. It all happened on Smackdown for a blink of an eye period. Kevin Owens was done with his interview with Michael Cole. he wasn’t entertaining any of Cole’s questions.
And as he was walking out, Dean Ambrose came walking by with his entrance theme playing in the background. He did not even look at Owens. The NXT Champion put his head down and turned his head swternly to Ambrose’s direction.
And so the moment was gone. This was certainly an interesting sequence.
It’ll be fascinating to see what happens when these two clap eyes on each other next time.
