5 Reasons Why Ryback is relevant to WWE

Ryback returned to WWE earlier this month from an injury prior to which he was teaming up with fellow former Paul Heyman guy Curtis Axel. Right before his surgery he recorded a video, which many speculate had been uttered while being under the influence of anaesthesia.Either that or he actually made people believe that he was under the influence while not actually being so. That was some mighty acting coming from a WWE guy. And then he returned to a welcomed response from the crowd. Here are five reasons why he will be relevant in the coming days.

#1 The element of comedy

When Ryback was just a heavy breathing muscle pile full of aggression, he was just like any other WWE’s prototype big guys who are expected to exhibit their uber- masculinity. But ever since returning, he has inculcated a lighter side.

This makes him much more interesting. He is not the ‘comic relief segment’ type of funny which is a relief but he actually is being allowed to show his funnier side that oen could only witness in his tweets before.

#2 Goldberg Chants?

Goldberg has been omnipresent in the WWE, even though he left the company is 2004. Why? The answer to this very rhetorical question is the debut of Ryback. Ryback’s gimmick reminded many of either Rob Van Dam or Golberg or a weird mixture of both.

But ever since his recent return, the chants have been diluted. There have been murmurs at the most. That makes one believe that Ryback has done something a bit unthinkable and moved beyond those chants. That makes one see what the management saw in one Skip Sheffield.

#3 The New Generation

Ryback just like all three members of The Shield, just like Bray Wyatt and just like Damien Sandow or Bad News Barrett, is from the new generation of superstars in the WWE. He is one of the superstars WWE would want to depend upon in the very, very near future.

And it helps that he’s getting some very favorable response from the audience. It makes WWE believe that they have the talent to depend upon once their present heirs hang up their boots.

#4 His Presence

If anything, Ryback has, over the years created a solid presence, a strong presence that is. Even though it his pushes went overboard and many thought that he wasn’t ready for the main event, it was wierd watching him lose in tag team matches or basically having nothing to do.

It was a much needed break but it also accentuated the fact that he could do or be involved in something better. That is why his injury was a blessing in disguise. Now that he’s back ever strong, his momentum requires to sustain.

#5 His gimmick.

Combining all the above written statement is that ryback is a babyface as of now but he’s not like a very virtuous one that John cen aplays quite well. He is not even an anti-hero. he’s not even a friendly giant.

He has something different about him. He is ‘The Big Guy’ but you can never imagine him sob and cry and be friendly with the kids. The blank, frowny stare that he naturally has gives him a lot more of a personality. He has a near perfect sense pf using the little words that he has with necessary pauses.

Let’s hope it continues to work.
