WWE Monday Night Raw preview : 12 October, 2015

The emotions are what the main roster lacks

Sasha Banks crying after her match against BayleyThree hours of fresh wrestling programming is all set to be unleashed by WWE on Monday night. The weekly flagship show will be put together with just two weeks away from Hell in a Cell and just like all the weeks that went by, the fans will be eager to dwell into each detail. The way in which WWE ended last week’s Raw was impressive to say the least. The dominance of New Day was a treat to see and it has certainly captured the attention of wrestling fans. Apart from this, there are storylines waiting to be explored throughout the WWE roster. Here is a look at the angles that WWE should mention this week at Raw.

#5 Divas in main roster

The emotions are what the main roster lacks

Sasha Banks and Bayley delivered a classic at NXT Takeover special a few days back. The women main evented the show and stole the limelight.

A crying Sasha and a jubilant Bayley etched memories into the hearts of Wrestling fans and this emotion is what the main roster lacks. There are talented women in the main roster, period. However, the way in which they are used should be changed immediately.

The randomly booked matches should be thrown out of the window soon and at the same time; WWE should invest some time on the Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella match which will be part of Hell in a Cell.

#4 Where is Cesaro?

Where is Cesaro?

The rollercoaster career of Cesaro in WWE is showing no signs of settling down. Either he will be up there being booked with the best, or he will be lost in the abyss.

And the worst part is that he gets such a booking despite being one of the best performers in the roster. WWE currently has no angle for Cesaro ahead of Hell in a Cell and he is likely to miss out on the pay-per-view. The Intercontinental Championship scene was ideal for him, but apparently WWE is going ahead with Kevin Owens vs. Ryback.

United States championship doesn’t have a void space as well leaving Cesaro with nothing to fight for. Figuring out what they should do with Cesaro should be in WWE’s top priority list when Raw arrives.

#3 Building up the Hell in a Cell Matches

In need of some big segments

The Hell in a Cell pay-per-view will see two Hell in a Cell matches. The first one will see Roman Reigns face Bray Wyatt whereas the second one will see Brock Lesnar go up against Undertaker.

WWE will have a daunting task of building up these matches over the next two episodes of Monday Night Raw. Considering that Lesnar vs. Undertaker is the best-booked feud in the current roster, there isn’t much work to be done there. Both are seasoned veterans and with Paul Heyman by their side, the chances of a mistake to happen are unlikely.

The Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns battle on the other side will need a lot of work. Reigns obviously is headed to stardom through the match and WWE should underline this fact. Bray needs some credible booking as well and hopefully we will get it this week.

#2 The foolish heel

The heel that attracts sympathy for his booking

Seth Rollins has been booked as a goofy heel throughout his title reign. The current feud that he has with Kane is nothing more than filler which is intended to kill time. We all know how the angle is going to turn out and it is really a shame to know that WWE is not fully utilizing the talent of Rollins.

He is a great worker inside the ring and could be a vicious heel if given the opportunity. Instead, WWE wants to project him as a foolish one that ends up attracting sympathy from the fans for the booking. Another thing that works is the nostalgic pull of Kane. Take these two things out, and this feud has nothing else to offer.

#1 A New Day for New Day

New Day for New day

WWE came up with some excellent storytelling last week when they allowed New Day to dominate Dolph Ziggler, John Cena and the Dudley Boys.

New Day, till then, was treated as goofy heels just like Seth Rollins, but after what happened last week, they have made a big point. There is a new found intensity in the faction and this had added to the storyline.

The likes of Cena and Dudley Boys will now have worthy opponents to take care of which apparently is the basic need of a good angle. Big E is currently the favourite to win the United States Championship from Cena and if everything goes his way, he might walk out with the gold around his waist this week.
